As a leader, you should strive for constant improvement. Try to take the first steps to get something rolling, when needed. Also do you best to keep track of what things you can delegate, and things you need to stop doing yourself to be more productive. Think about these same things for your team. Decide to teach yourself more skills, and strive for mastery. Leaders also always want to be entirely focused on both the task at hand, as well as the bigger picture and overall mission of the organization. Some of these things might take work and time, but are worth it.
Keeping Up Morale
As a leader, you need to keep up morale and be inspiring. Be sure that you give position feedback, when needed. Share these examples with others so that they know what is expected of them as great employees. By keeping expectations higher, employees will aim higher in all their work.
