ESTPs tend to drive people a little crazy when they around others. They are very engaging people, warm and kind, but also more than just a bit reckless. This is the personality type that will set fear aside, do something they’ve never done before, and then repeat the process the next day. Famous people with ESTP personality tend to be leaders because of their creativity and ability to relate difficult concepts to every other personality type.
1. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Most people recognize Doyle’s name because of his adventures that he created for Sherlock Holmes. Doyle always said that what made his stories easy to understand on a core level was the fact that he was always a bit reckless himself. Creating mischief was more than just finding ways to have fun. It was a way to capture the essence of what the human spirit is all about.
2. Donald Trump.
Trump has always said that the difference between success and failure is how someone decides to react whenever they have a curveball thrown to them by life. Learning from the past is important to Trump, but so is keeping at least one eye on the future at all times. Politics sometimes makes him a divisive figure, but he still takes great pride in making sure every day he makes it safely to the other side.
3. Stephen Covey.
If you don’t recognize the name, you’ll recognize his work: The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. His favorite thing to say is that people should keep the “main thing” their “main thing.” Instead of waiting for pain, either physical or emotional, to inspire someone to action, Covey teaches that urgency can be found in other ways. His advice once ran contrary to what people believed, but now it is considered standard knowledge.
4. Glenn Beck.
Beck has summed up nicely what it means to be an ESTP. It’s to be in a place where this personality type can tell others how to live their lives. Sometimes that advice is subtle. Sometimes it can be in your face. Most times what ESTPs offer is pretty good advice, even if it is tinted with a personal bias like some may find with Beck.
Famous people with ESTP personality seek the greater good in all things great and small. Not everyone may agree with them, but ESTPs don’t have a problem with that. They just have a problem with you if you don’t believe in what you say you believe.
