What is unique about the INFJ and ENTP relationship is that each person is attracted to the other because of their differences. One has a calm, steady presence and the other is interactive and engaging. When put together, it is like taking two halves to make one whole. The only problem is that what attracts them is also what puts the INFJ and ENTP relationship compatibility at risk.
Intuition Is the Common Ground
If you’ve ever heard a conversation between an INFJ and an ENTP, then you’ve basically heard a full debate on every major issue that is important to each person. Big ideas are always part of this relationship and while the ENTP tends to be verbal and expressive, the INFJ will listen and counterpoint in the debate.
This focus on big ideas is seen in every aspect of the relationship. It defines a friendship, is the foundation for romance, and both will always be looking to think outside of the box to find new ways to express their emotions.
INFJs and ENTPs also share a mutual lack of concern for what the other person may be doing throughout the day. They are focused on the future and they trust each other explicitly, but this trust might mean certain things like household chores just don’t get done.
Different Emotions Provide a Unique Strength
For the ENTP, things like “warmth” and “compassion” are almost foreign concepts. They enjoy the emotions that are expressed to them by the INFJ. In reverse, the INFJ can be very expressive and not have to worry that their emotions are going to be taken out of context and given unwanted criticism. This gives a relationship a very complete perspective.
At times this may also cause conflict. One person will be straightforward and brutally honest. The other will simply internalize any conflict that is experienced until the anger explodes out of them one day. If these extremes can be properly managed, then there can be a great amount of success.
INFJ and ENTP relationship compatibility is about being content in the fact that the other person can make them whole and complete. If enough compromise and freedom is allowed, this combination can become a powerful force of nature.
