Communication is a key part of the foundation that compatibility requires. Although INFPs and ENTJs tend to be very different people from each other, these two personality types also understand where the other is coming from when it comes to what is being talked about. Both personality types of judging functions and extroverted thinking patterns as well, which further enhances the bond that these two feel for each other.
What Makes Them Different Is What Makes Them Strong
INFPs tend to get lost in the fine details of life. ENTJs tend to be a strong anchor in the windy storms of stress and emotion. Combined these two relationships are compatible because many of their perspectives are completely opposites from one another. Yet there are just the right amount of similarities involved to help each bring the other towards a place where they can be a little bit better tomorrow than they were today.
Loyalty is a #1 priority for both of these personality types. If either feels that one is not being loyal in any way, it can actually be enough to destroy the compatibility that these personality types have. Sometimes personal loyalties can get in the way as well, so compatibility comes back to communication.
There Is One Huge Road Block
ENTJs tend to be very straightforward and blunt. They speak their mind and they don’t really care about the consequences of their words – at least at first. They are controlling, direct, and focus on the logic of any given situation.
INFPs, on the other hand, tend to ignore logic because they want to focus on their feelings. Those feelings take any form of criticism very seriously because it is perceived as a personal attack. If communication breaks down at this point, then any thoughts of INFP and ENTJ compatibility is going to be gone for good.
Mutual Respect For The Differences Of The Other Is What Fuels These Personality Types.
Both are open to self-improvement, but the approach in addressing those issues must be considered first. The wrong approach will destroy this relationship quickly. The right approach, however, will enhance the loyalty each feels for the other so that a long-lasting relationship is created.
